Letter from Australia’s ‘Guantanamo’ boy thanks “whole Australian community”

The above image is not from Guantanamo Bay or Abu Ghraib, but from an Australian detention centre. And the person shackled, hooded and restrained is not a man but a teenage boy. The image is taken from a secretly filmed video of boys who were tortured in Australian youth detention centres in the Northern Territory by racist and sadistic prison staff, overseen by a racist and sadistic governance. All the boys who were featured in the video are of Aboriginal descent. A heart-rending letter from the boy shown above, dated 26 July 2016, is published in full below.
