Turkey: Kurd protesters killed by police

Kurdish protesters clashed with Turkish police in the city of Diyabakir as ISIS continues to attack the border city of Kobani. The Kurds are the only force on the ground trying to save Kobani and its inhabitants. Turkey refuses to intervene as they fear Kurdish expansion.

Clashes between Kurds and police also occurred in Ankara, Istanbul (where 30 people were injured), Diyarbakir (where 5 protesters were killed), Varto, Van (where thousands of protesters rallied against ISIS) and elsewhere in Turkey.
